Contributions to the Zonta Foundation for Women are directly linked to our international project management and scholarship awards to support women and girls around the world. Over the past 100 years, Zonta has invested more than $50 million in projects and scholarships that have supported millions of women and girls in 66 countries.

The mission of our fundraising organization, the Zonta Foundation for Women, is to raise and manage funds to provide financial support for projects and scholarships that improve women’s educational opportunities and health, as well as projects that can eliminate violence against women through advocacy and legislation.
All contributions to the Zonta Foundation for Women are allocated to projects and grants that we decide on at the Zonta World Meeting. The projects we support are usually implemented in collaboration with various UN agencies. The Zonta Foundation for Women receives regular reports on how our grants are being used. In addition, people from Zonta International regularly visit projects on the ground. We usually disburse funds in stages and require interim results before continuing to fund a decided project.
